Augusta Rowing Club meets Olympian rower Andre Matias

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Augusta Rowing Club and the Augusta Sports Council teamed up to host Olympic rower Andre Matias.
Matias represented Angola at four world championships, has won several world cups, medaled at several championships, and he is an Olympic rowing college champion.
The CSRA has a proud history when it comes to rowing, including hosting the Arion program last year to help post collegiate athletes train in the winter and spring, when it is too cold to train up north.
Matias spoke about the advice he would give to students interested in rowing.
