United Way of the CSRA celebrates its annual campaign
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - United Way of the CSRA is celebrating the accomplishments of its 2023 annual campaign.
It was a packed room at the Marriott, filled with local businesses and community leaders who were recognized for their work during the campaign.
United Way raised more than $2 million during that period. It also had a total impact of more than $5 million in 2023 through programs like Ride United, the empty stocking fund and more.
“I think it’s great to get together and celebrate what we have done. We talk not just about fundraising, but we talk about the other impacts we have. The community learns more about United Way as a whole. Then hopefully, they’ll tell other people or let someone know about a resource they learned about today,” said President and CEO Brittany Burnett.
Some of the awards given included Rookie of the Year, Double Impact, Rising Star and more.
