ATV accident kills Washington County High School 15-year-old
SANDERSVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A student at Washington County High School died over the weekend, according to school officials.
In a letter to parents, the Washington County Public School District said 15-year-old Tyson Tillman “made a significant impact on the school community.”
Tillman died on Saturday, according to his obituary.
Sheriff Joel Cochran said he died in an ATV accident.
LETTER FROM SCHOOL DISTRICT:
“The Washington County School District would like to express our sincere condolences to his family and friends. This news has brought a deep sadness to our school family,” school officials said in a statement.
The school district will have counselors available on campus for any student who may need or want help.
According to Tillman’s obituary, funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
