GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - On Thursday, a part of Midland Valley High School’s campus road was renamed after a long-time area three advisory council member.

The road honors Sarah Johnson.

Johnson has served the Aiken County Public School District for more than 48 years.

You will see her name on the circular loop in front of the school’s main office.

“It is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life,” said Johnson.

She graduated from Langley-Bath-Clearwater High School in 1960.
