Man wanted in slaying of 38-year-old near Walton Way
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A suspect is wanted in connection the shooting death of a 38-year-old near Walton Way last Tuesday, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, authorities announced that suspect, Joshua Wadley, 39, is wanted for murder in reference to a homicide that occurred on July 2, in the 1800 block of Warren Street in Augusta.
Wadley is known to frequent the Harrisburg Neighborhood, authorities say.
He is described by authorities to be six feet in height, and weighing around 150 pounds in weight.
Wadley is to be considered armed and dangerous. He currently has multiple active warrants for his arrest through this agency to include murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to authorities.
Wadley is accused of killing 38-year-old Ceon Ulmer, of the 1700 block of Jenkins Street, according to authorities.
Ulmer was found outside a residence on Warren Street with at least one gunshot wound around 5:11 a.m., according to Coroner Mark Bowen.
Bowen says he was pronounced dead on the scene an hour later.
An autopsy will be scheduled, Bowen says.

Tuesday’s shooting is the most recent case of an outbreak in violent crimes in the CSRA.
Just four days prior, on June 28, a 30-year-old was killed in fatal shooting on 15th Street in downtown Augusta.
