Edgefield tourist attraction set to open this fall
EDGEFIELD, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Construction has started on a new tourist attraction in Edgefield County.
This is your first look at Sara’s Farm Adventure. The grand opening is set for Sept. 19, but crews on site are busy setting up for the fall.
From pumpkin patches to thrilling attractions, sunflowers, and tasty treats, there is a lot to expect. They are partnered with Titan Farms to help provide a hands-on, family-friendly attraction that serves as a reminder of agriculture’s importance in South Carolina.
“So this isn’t just about Titan Farms. This is about what Edgefield County has to offer. I want everybody to come out, enjoy the area, make great memories to last a lifetime,” said Karisa Ruth, director of retail sales, Titan Farms. “We have swing sets, a tire mountain, we have pig races, animal barns with a large goat. Goat bridge where you can come out. We also have apple cannons and paintball.”
Cody Webb will be there in concert for the kickoff weekend on Sept 19. You can get lost in the corn maze and check out the jack-o-lantern lane they are planning so many other seasonal events for Christmas and Easter.
