Finding Solutions: Project Life continues to serve others with new projects
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One local group is celebrating one year in their brand new facility.
Project Life provides free food and clothes to anyone who needs it and their reach doesn’t stop just stop there.
The non-profit is finding solutions in other projects that will continue to serve others.
“Our entire team makes it all possible, having 30 plus volunteers here serving as a team every time the doors are open,” said Erik Sowder, Project Life director of operations. “It’s rewarding for all of us knowing that we’re helping people and that’s what it’s all about, helping people.”
Finding solutions: Volunteers cancer patients in Augusta
Cancer Services helps meet the needs of cancer patients and their families. They’re centered around healing and creating better outcomes.

On Mondays, they also provide haircuts.
This is all free to the people they help thanks to local partnerships and donors.
The old building is currently being used for weekly bible studies and will eventually become a cafe where they will provide hot meals.
They are also working on renovating upstairs in the new building to have a bridal boutique.
