5th teen arrested in snatching of $37 from Martinez eatery
MARTINEZ, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The fifth teenager suspected of snatching $37 from a restaurant last week turned himself in, authorities tell us on Tuesday.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the 15-year-old who got away turned himself in over the weekend.
He is at the Augusta Regional Youth Detention Center with a hearing set for Wednesday.

A student was spotted with a gun at a bus stop earlier this week, according to the Richmond County School System.

Authorities surrounded a neighborhood and brought out a heat-seeking drone after the money was grabbed off a table around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Salsa’s, 204 Bobby Jones Expressway.
Columbia County deputies were told a male in a group of five snatched a black payment wallet from a booth and ran off toward Washington Road.
4 young men shot dead in Georgia park; teenager arrested
An investigation is underway in northwest Georgia after authorities said four men were found dead in a park.

One suspect was caught on Davis Road. Then deputies surrounded the area and found two more suspects. Drones helped track down a fourth suspect. The fifth suspect wasn’t found until he turned himself in days later.
The five detained teenagers – a 17-year-old, the 15-year-old, two 14-year-olds, and a 13-year-old – were all charged with robbery by sudden snatching and obstruction, deputies said.
The 17-year-old’s bond was set at $16,200.
