Augusta 25-year-old accused of shooting up home, vehicles
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man was arrested on Monday after firing multiple shots at an Augusta residence.
According to an incident report, deputies arrived on the scene and made with one of the victims, who stated an unknown male, 25-year-old Zeric Wideman, approached her son’s girlfriend and complimented her appearance.
According to the report, the victim’s son asked Wideman to leave.
73-year-old dies 2 weeks after shooting on Gay Drive
A 73-year-old died a little over two weeks after being shot on Gay Drive earlier this month, the Richmond County Coroner told us on Tuesday.

The victim stated that Wideman lifted up his shirt showing two firearms, and asked the victims if they “wanted any problems,” according to the incident report.
The report states the victim advised Wideman to leave the residence again.
Wideman then grabbed both firearms from his waistline, got into his vehicle, and fired several shots toward the four victims, according to the incident report.
5th teen arrested in snatching of $37 from Martinez eatery
The fifth teenager suspected of snatching $37 from a restaurant last week turned himself in authorities tell us on Tuesday.

One of the victims stated that 10 to 15 minutes later, Wideman came back to the residence with an unknown Black male and began to fire multiple shots at the mother’s residence, striking the residence and the vehicle of one of the victims.
Deputies on scene said they observed several bullet holes located in a vehicle that was abandoned in the victims’ driveway.
The incident report states several vehicles were damaged at the time of the call.
