FEMA opens additional recovery center in Emanuel County

FEMA is opening up an additional disaster recovery center in Emanuel County to help Georgians after Hurricane Helene.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - FEMA is opening up an additional disaster recovery center in Emanuel County to help Georgians after Hurricane Helene.

The center at the Southeastern Technical College in the Special Programs Building will be open all week including Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

One local camp is left picking up the pieces after Helene caused so much damage.

That also goes for the Center in Richmond County at the Hub for Community Innovation.
