Man wanted after meth found in child’s system
EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man is wanted in reference to second-degree cruelty to children, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say Cleveland Everette Hair Jr. also has warrants for probation violation and possession of meth.
According to the incident report, the victim’s mother said she allowed the child to stay with her mother-in-law on Sept. 10.
The mom spoke to her mother-in-law multiple times while the child was with her, according to the report.

A former Washington County High School teacher has been sentenced after catfishing his students and ing sexually explicit content on social media, according to The United States Department of Justice.

The report states the child was supposed to return to the mom on Sept. 11. Around 10:45 that morning, the mom called the mother-in-law and both her and the child were crying uncontrollably.
The report says the mom realized the child was not acting right and took him to a local emergency room. They transported the child to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
The hospital found a substance in the child’s system that was determined suspicious, according to the incident report.
The incident report states the substance found in the child’s system was meth.
Suspect arrested 6 months after stabbing in Thomson
A suspect has been accused of a stabbing incident back in May in Thomson, according to police.

The child’s mom believes her son got it from the mother-in-law’s home, where Hair also resides, according to the report.
The mom stated she believed the drugs belonged to Hair, according to the report.
Hair is believed to be driving a white 2013 Nissan Frontier that is spray-painted black.
The sheriff’s office says Hair is possibly in the Williston, S.C. area.
