40-year-old man killed in Washington County crash

SANDERSVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - After a fatal single-vehicle crash in Washington County, authorities have identified the victim.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Steve Gladdin, 40, of Warthen, died in the crash Sunday in the 1100 block of Walker Dairy Road.

The sheriff’s office says the initial investigation indicated that the driver lost control of the vehicle, rolled over and the driver was ejected.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m., according to deputies.

Gladdin was the only person in the vehicle.

Accident shuts down eastbound lanes on Wrightsboro Road

Richmond County deputies were at the scene of a car accident just after 10 p.m. near Roger Bagby Auto Services Sunday night.

The accident is under investigation by Georgia State Patrol.
