81-year-old man killed in Aiken County crash
AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - An Eutawville man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Aiken County on Sunday, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s office says at 10:26 a.m. on Monday, they responded to Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina regarding the death of a man involved in a single-vehicle crash.
The crash happened on Sunday around 9:46 p.m. on South Dixie Road near Veterans Road, according to officials.
40-year-old man killed in Washington County crash
After a fatal single-vehicle crash in Washington County, authorities have identified the victim.
Officials say 81-year-old Richard Fowler, was traveling west on South Dixie Road when the ran off the road striking a ditch and a tree, according to officials.
Fowler was pronounced dead at the hospital at 9:45 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.
The Coroner’s Office says they along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation.
