Officers investigating shooting of man in Orangeburg

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Officers are investigating after a man was shot in the leg Saturday night, according to the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety.
Police say they responded around 9:30 Saturday night after being notified of a shooting on Lancaster Street.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, says he was walking down the street when another man approached him and shot him in the leg.
Authorities confirmed the victim was transported to a hospital after the shooting.
According to police, there is no word on the motive behind the shooting or any arrests.
The incident is still being investigated..
