Arrest made after investigation into graffiti, drugs and stolen items in Screven County

SYLVANIA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Reports of vandalism across multiple counties have led to an arrest in Screven County.

Christopher Shane Roberts was arrested on Saturday, according according to the Screven County Sheriff’s Office.

4 suspects from Augusta indicted on federal firearms charges

Four people from Augusta have been indicted for illegal federal firearm possession, according to authorities.

U.S. District Court, federal courthouse, Augusta, Ga.

Investigators say he’s connected to graffiti on various gas stations, retail stores, county properties and abandoned buildings.

Several common tags connected investigators to Roberts, according to a post shared by the sheriff’s office on Facebook.

Deputies say through the investigation, they were able to determine that Roberts was also using and distributing illegal drugs and, “committing various other crimes here in Screven County.”

He now faces charges related to drugs, burglary and criminal damage to property.
