AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Drivers should expect delays while crews work on ongoing bridge repairs in Augusta on Monday.

What’s the status of possible tiny homes in Aiken County?
As talks of tiny homes and tiny cottages continue around the CSRA, Aiken County appears to be close to deciding if tiny homes could appear within the county.

The construction is part of the repair on Highland Avenue over the railroad tracks near Gordon Highway.
You will find a detour in case you head in that direction.
Expect delays or take a different route if you can.

The Augusta Canal Trail will soon be expanding, making it easier for you to get out and enjoy it.
Soon, construction will begin on a $2.5 million access trail to the Augusta Canal from behind Top Golf and Bass Pro Shop on Riverwatch Parkway.
The canal trail connects the community from several different points, like Lake Olmstead and downtown, but soon a new entrance will make that connection even stronger.
