North Aiken Elementary principal earns statewide honor
AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The South Carolina Association of Black School Educators honored Dr. Elisa Sanders-Pee as Principal of the Year.
The North Aiken Elementary School principal was ed by friends, family , colleagues and the SCABSE director.
James Brown Arena demolition progresses with site cleared by Masters week
There’s light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to tearing down the James Brown Arena.
“Under Dr. Pee’s leadership North Aiken grew a full proficiency band on the state’s report card,” says Merry Piccolino, ASD Director of Communications. “She attributes much of the success to the innovating and creative practices of her teachers and leadership team.”
Some of the practices included grouping students by their rash test tours instead of their grades so teachers can have better-targeted goals to help students.
