Finding Solutions: Salvation Army looks for more help after Red Kettle Campaign
Although the Red Kettle fundraiser is over, we spoke with the Salvation Army of Aiken, who says it looks for year-round.

It has over 50 beds to house kids up to the age of 21.
Monica Jeffcoat, the CEO of Helping Hands, says they serve anywhere from 85 to 100 young people a year.
They currently have 13 teenagers staying with them and are looking to revamp their clothing warehouse.
Jeffcoat says they’re looking for professional clothing of all sizes for teens, undergarments, as well as items foster parents can benefit from.
Finding Solutions: New Goodwill bringing jobs, opportunities to Thomson
You’ll soon be able to Goodwill’s mission at their new store in Thomson, which has already provided more than 20 jobs for people in the area.
“We will have half of our clothing closet dedicated to the clothing from birth to 21 mostly focusing on teenage items, and the other half would have toys, hygiene products, any item that a foster parent would need,” said Jeffcoat.
Volunteers are set to come next week to paint and revamp the clothing closet.
They do a lot for these kids and offer a number of programs while they are staying there.
