YMCA opens enrollment for early learning centers

The YMCA of Atlanta announced that early learning enrollment is open at five Augusta-Richmond County Early Learning Programs for the 2025-2026 school year.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The YMCA of Atlanta announced that early learning enrollment is open at five Augusta-Richmond County Early Learning Programs for the 2025-2026 school year.

The YMCA is state-licensed and partners with Early Head Start and Head Start programs to serve more than 3,000 children.

The program helps young children build critical skills before kindergarten.

The YMCA is also getting ready for the 2025 Augusta Duck Dash.

The Duck Dash is an event that helps the YMCA’s “A Place to Dream” program.

Since 2017, the Greater Augusta YMCA has provided more than 2,000 beds to children in need with the help of this fundraiser.

The Duck Dash is Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Savannah Rapids Park in Martinez.
