City of Aiken seeks public input on Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The City of Aiken is inviting residents and community to provide on the future development of Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park through a Master Plan Update.

The city says this initiative will help shape the park’s next phase of growth and improvements.

There are two ways to participate in the process: in-person sessions and an online survey.

Golf week causing increase in business outside of Augusta

Community can view the updated concept plans at the following on-site sessions:

  • Wednesday, April 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Both sessions will be held at the Generations Park Picnic Shelter located at 700 Mack Henry Holland Drive. Residents can come to learn about the proposed plans and provide their thoughts and suggestions in person.

The city says it encourages all community to participate in this process to ensure that the Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park serves the needs and desires of those who use it most.
