This year’s winner says each student present was impressive in their own right.

“They all had so many different accomplishments, so many different sporting achievements, academic achievements, service achievements,” said Samuel Timothy Mirshak, Aquinas High School senior and Youth of the Year winner. “I’m truly honored to be considered the top out of all of those candidates, but I believe that truly anyone could have won this award; it was a very talented field of people.”

The award is given out each year toward the end of the school year.

“I feel honored to be the top of all of those candidates, but I truly beleive anyone could win this award its a very talented field of people so It feels nice to be recognized for my talents, but also to see the good all these other people are doing for our community and the world,” said Mirshak. “So I look forward to seeing all the contributions they will bring to the community as well.”
