Deputies respond to car crash that ends in Wagener pond

WAGENER, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Law enforcement is responding to an accident in which a car ended up in a Wagener pond, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials tell us that the accident occurred at Sand Dam Road and Incandescent Road.
As of 7:20 p.m., Sand Dam Road was closed as a result of the law enforcement presence.
Richmond County Homelessness Outreach Team investigating near downtown Augusta
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Hot team is investigating near downtown Augusta.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is on scene and will be handling the accident.
