21-year-old killed in McDuffie County crash

THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in McDuffie County.

Coroner Paul Johnson says dispatchers received the call regarding the wreck around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

34-year-old dies days after shooting on Madrid Drive in Augusta

Brandon Johnson, 34, was shot at least once in the 3600 block of Madrid Drive on Sunday. He died Friday.

Johnson says 21-year-old Caden Stevens-Butwell, of Evans, was a enger in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene in the 800 block of Moose Club Road.

An autopsy has been scheduled.

Georgia Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
