3 sisters found dead after leaving home for ‘planned’ visitation with father, police say
CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. (Gray News) - Three young girls who were reported missing in Washington state were found dead, and their father is wanted in connection with their deaths, according to authorities.
According to the Wenatchee Police Department, 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker were found dead near the Rock Island Campground on Monday.

The father, 32-year-old Travis Decker, is still missing and wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and kidnapping charges.
On Friday, the three girls headed out with their dad for a planned visitation, according to the Wenatchee Police Department.
“The visitation was part of a parenting plan, but he has since gone outside the parameters of it, which is not normal and cause for the alarm,” police said in their statement at the time the girls were missing.
At the time, the investigation didn’t meet AMBER Alert criteria; however, an Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued through the Washington State Patrol.
When the three girls went missing, Decker was believed to be homeless and living out of a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck with a Washington license plate D20165C.
The truck was found near the campground where the girls’ bodies were discovered Monday evening.
Decker is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 190 lbs., with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light shirt and dark shorts.

It is unknown whether Decker is currently armed, but he may pose a significant risk, if approached. It’s important to note that he’s a veteran with extensive training.
