One person shot at apartment complex in Washington County, officials say

SANDERSVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Sandersville Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Sunrise Apartments early Saturday morning in reference to a shooting.

One individual was shot and taken to the hospital, where they remain in stable condition.

All evidence suggests that the shooting is an isolated incident with no active threats.

Both agencies are working to find who is responsible, and the investigation is ongoing.
