Officer grabs car with hands to keep it from rolling down embankment

TUKWILA, Wash. (Gray News) - A police department shared a photo of one of its officers grabbing a car with his hands to keep it from rolling down an embankment.

According to the Tukwila Police Department, an officer responded to a vehicle that had gone off the road. When he arrived, he discovered the vehicle was mostly off the road and was about to roll down a steep embankment. The driver and engers were still inside.

The officer grabbed the car “to provide counterweight” and keep it from falling until other officers arrived.

The driver and engers were rescued from the car. The car was saved from rolling down the embankment.
