Camille Syed, a proud Savannah native, returned to WTOC in June 2024 as a vibrant lifestyle host on Morning Break, airing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. t2o

Camille graduated from Windsor Forest High School and pursued her ion for storytelling at Georgia Southern University, earning a B.A. in Multimedia Journalism in 2020. She launched her journalism career as a reporter at WCJB-TV20 in Gainesville, Florida, covering diverse topics, with a particular focus on gentrification in historically Black communities.

Homesick for Savannah, Camille returned to WTOC where she initially reported for a year and a half. She later served as a marketing and communications specialist at City Hall before reing WTOC as a lifestyle host.

Beyond her career, Camille treasures time with her daughter and husband. When not on air, you might find her exploring local restaurants.
