Professional experience: Anchor/MMJ/ Producer at WSAW in Wausau, Wisconsin, Student Reporter at Media Milwaukee

News philosophy: I believe news should not only inform but also inspire. Each story should uncover facts and maintain community trust.

Hometown: Kaukauna, Wisconsin

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Certificate in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.

Family: My mother lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin, near Lambeau Field (The cheeseheads! Yes, I love cheese) and my father lives in my hometown currently. I am an only child. Yes, I was spoiled with attention! I now live with my significant other in Charleston and we are loving the warm weather. We tease our family about the snow and negative-degree weather they get often.

Hobbies/interests: I am a foodie! At my former TV station I had a series called "Dine and Dish," where I would highlight unique local restaurants in a story series. I cannot wait to explore more of all the restaurants Charleston has to offer. If you have a favorite, I'd love to hear it! I also enjoy listening to podcasts, watching standup comedy and going to coffee shops.

Likes best about the Lowcountry: I absolutely love being near the ocean and the sunny warm days. Most importantly, I have noticed how kind people are here. I talk to strangers every day as part of my reporting role and am amazed by the kindness people share each day. I am proud to call the Lowcountry my new home!
